Andrew King eDiscovery Expert – E-Discovery Consulting Founder

Andrew King is the Founder and Strategic Advisor of E-Discovery Consulting, where he independently advises law firms on legal technology and eDiscovery. He assists by managing the entire discovery process or providing independent advice on any aspect of it.

Prior to establishing E-Discovery Consulting Andrew worked for 10 years in London at multinational firms Mayer Brown and Pinsent Masons. On his return to New Zealand Andrew worked for over two years at Bell Gully as the Litigation Support Manager. 

Andrew has 20 years industry experience working extensively advising on and managing all aspects of the discovery process. Andrew’s expert knowledge and experience guides clients through the life-cycle of the eDiscovery process, from identification of information through to collection, processing, analysis, review and presentation of evidence in court. 

Andrew is committed to industry development and raising the awareness of eDiscovery and legaltech by being:  

  • A member on the working group of the High Court Rules Committee which drafted the new electronic discovery rules.
  • The organiser of the LegalTech Hub – go to resource for legal tech in New Zealand!
  • Advisor Board member of Information Governance ANZ.
  • The author of The NZ E-Discovery Blog, which is an objective New Zealand based commentary on electronic discovery issues.
