New discovery rules
The new discovery rules commenced on the 1st of February 2012. These rules substantially change the way that discovery will be conducted as they introduce new requirements that must be considered on all matters.
Our specialist expertise can help provide you with the practical guidance on what you need to do and how to do it. Our sessions focus on what the new rules will mean for you and what you will have to do to ensure you are ready to comply with the new rules.
As well as explaining the new rules, we can tailor sessions to:
- Assess your current practice, to see if you need to make any changes
- Help you comply with the Discovery Checklist
- Ensure you are equipped to comply with the Listing and Exchange Protocols
- Help you assess any appropriate software and practices to suit your requirements.
I was a leading member of the working group that helped draft these discovery rules. I have exclusive knowledge of what the new practical requirements mean.
